F-150 Slide-In Camper

An Andbru Design product: a fully sliding pop-up camper sized for the Ford F-150 6-foot bed, with a rooftop tent above and a compact living cabin below.

This slide-in camper is an Andbru Design product, developed end to end in-house for the Ford F-150. It is built around the short-bed truck: a 6-foot bed fit, a true sliding interface with the F-150, and a package that reads as one system rather than a box dropped in the bed.

The upper level is a pop-up rooftop tent for sleeping and ventilation. Below is the living cabin — the volume you actually use for storage, seating, and on-trail setup. Together they give overland teams a compact camp that deploys without a trailer.

The form language comes from off-road and overland camping: durable panels, clear access, and a cab-over profile that stays stable on dirt roads and remote sites. Solid modeling carried the design from early CAD through fit checks and the presentation model shown here.
